Who we are

Someone on your side.

Prime Care Placement helps families compare assisted living, memory care, residential care homes and independent living. We start with the person: the help they need, the routines they want to keep, and what your family can spend.

More about us
  • We work for your family.

We recommend what fits your loved one, not whichever community has a room to fill. If we have concerns about a place, we tell you.

  • It costs your family nothing.

Communities pay us a referral fee after a move-in. You never receive a bill from us, and the fee doesn’t change what you pay.

  • We know Valley senior living from the inside.

We know the communities, the care homes and the people who run them: who has openings, who handles higher care needs well, and where the hidden fees are.

Care options

Five ways to get the right kind of help.

The right setting depends on how much help someone needs, how they like to live, and the budget. Here is who each option suits.

Residential Care Homes

Arizona has many small licensed assisted living homes in ordinary neighborhoods, each caring for ten or fewer residents. Caregivers get to know every person well. Most families have never heard of them, and for the right person they can be the best option of all.

Assisted Living

For someone who needs help with bathing, dressing, medications or meals but still wants their own apartment and routine. We look for communities that can handle today’s needs and the ones likely to come next.

Memory Care

For someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia whose safety at home has become a worry. We look closely at staff training, the secured environment and how each community handles difficult days.

Independent Living

For someone who is still independent but tired of keeping up a house, eating alone or driving everywhere. Independent living offers an apartment, meals, activities and neighbors, without paying for care that isn’t needed yet.

Hospital and Rehab Discharge

The hospital says your loved one can leave Thursday, and they can’t go home alone. We move quickly: we find places with openings that can meet their needs, work with the discharge planner, and help you decide in days rather than weeks.

Paying for care

Start with the budget, not the brochure.

We talk about money before anyone tours: what your family can spend each month, what the quotes leave out, and which programs might help. It saves you from falling for a place you can’t afford.

  • ALTCS, Arizona’s Medicaid long-term care program, can pay for care for people who meet its medical and financial rules. AHCCCS decides who qualifies.
  • VA benefits, including Aid and Attendance, may help wartime veterans and surviving spouses who need help with daily living.
  • Long-term care insurance often covers assisted living. Find the policy and we’ll help you work out what to ask the insurer.

Your advisor

One advisor, from the first call to move-in day.

Most families call after something changes: a fall, a new diagnosis, a hospital stay, or the slow realization that home isn’t safe anymore. My job is to take as much of the search off your plate as I can.

I start with the person, not just the chart: what help they need, what they enjoy, and what they’d hate to give up. Then I narrow the list to the few places that fit, set up the tours, and stay with you until the move is done.
